Guide for Older Adult Ministry is a tool designed to assist congregations and other groups to plan and strengthen this ministry. Order from ALOA by calling 1-800-930-ALOA. Cost: $5 for shipping and handling. 

Share the Years is a discussion guide to 37 topics related to aging. Designed for use by Adult Forums, senior adult Sunday School classes, etc., the guide also serves as a Bible study and an opportunity for outreach to seniors in the community. Each topic offers suggestions for service opportunities for individuals, small groups and congregations. Share the Years comes in a convenient binder format. Churches are free to duplicate topics as needed; you need only one book per congregation. Cost: $30 plus $5 for shipping. Note: Share the Years is provided as a courtesy to ALOA's Covenant Congregations.

Lessons I Learned in Life is a series of essays related to the values and ideals that one retired pastor wrote for his grandchildren. Author: The Rev. Robert J. L. Zimmer; published by ALOA as part of its "Passing on the Faith" series. The book's topics may be used as discussion starters for youth groups, or as a model for other elders wishing to share their "lessons learned"—or it could be an ideal gift for a young person (12 or older) you care about.  Cost: $10 plus $3 for postage. Quantity discounts: 10-24 - $9; 25-49 - $8; 50 or more - $7. Postage based on actual shipping costs. 

Grand Days: Ideas for sharing faith moments between grandparents and grandkids is the second publication related to "Passing on the Faith." A long list of Lutheran grandparents shared their kid-tested ideas for fun activities that help foster cross-generational relationships. Published by Group Publishing, Loveland, CO, the book lists for $21.99, and is available at most Christian bookstores and amazon.com. ALOA offers the book at a discounted price of $15, plus $3 for postage. Quantity discounts: 10-24 - $14; 25-49 - $13; 50 or more - $12. Postage for quantities based on actual cost.

Lutherhostel Manual: A Guide for Organizing Lutherhostels is a tool for groups planning to sponsor ALOA Lutherhostels. Guide is free with ALOA consultation.

SeniorFest Manual: A Guide for Organizing SeniorFest Events is a tool for groups planning regional educational and fellowship events for older adults as part of ALOA's SeniorFest outreach program. Manual is free with ALOA consultation.
