Members are essential to ALOA. They drive our mission. Provide national leadership. Inform our agenda. Support financially. Memberships are ALOA’s primary source of income.
ALOA invites seniors and soon-to-be seniors (boomers!), congregations, social ministry organizations, synods, districts and others to share our vision of a church renewal based on effective use of the gifts, experience, and commitment of older adults -- along with updated senior ministries, outreach and services designed to meet the changing needs of people in the 21st Century.
Individual Members
Individuals may join at any time. One membership can include spouses. Memberships are renewed annually. You may join at the financial level most comfortable for you:
- $5000 Lifetime Member (or annual gift of $1000 for 5 years)
- $1000 Sponsoring Member
- $ 500 Supporting Member
- $ 100 Contributing Member
- $ 50 Family/Household Members
- $ 35 Basic Member
Memorials and Honorary Gifts
Gifts may also be made as a memorial or to recognize friends, loved ones or to commemorate an event or achievement.

Congregations
Congregations are invited to become “Covenant Congregations” of ALOA. Covenant Congregations commit to intentional senior ministry. Covenant Congregations receive multiple copies of all of ALOA’s regular publications and courtesy copies of congregational resource materials produced by ALOA.

Social Ministry Organizations, Synods, Districts,
College, Seminaries and Other Organizations
ALOA invites all organizations with a commitment to seniors to partner with us. Organizational members receive multiple copies of materials commensurate to their annual contribution. Other organizations are invited to join at whatever level is convenient to them—understanding that their annual membership dollars is what makes the work of ALOA possible.
